Nearly 15 years ago, our founders, Craig & Kristin Snyder, were inspired to bring something new to Sioux Falls – a place where organic and gourmet foods could thrive. With a passion for health and community, they co-founded Pomegranate Market, creating a welcoming space for fresh, wholesome living. Their vision continues to guide us today, as we remain committed to feeding your happiness every day.
Jonah & Alison Snyder
President & Co-Owners
Jonah and Alison Snyder became part of the ownership team at Pomegranate Market in 2024, driven by a shared love for good food, healthy living and Mother Earth. Married in 2023, they’ve been enthusiastic teammates in life and business ever since. Jonah currently serves as President of the store, leading with a passion for community and natural wellness, while Alison brings warmth, creativity and a strong belief in the power of real food. They love calling Sioux Falls home and are excited to help grow Pomegranate as a welcoming, inspiring place for others to eat and live well.
Gabe & Ellie Messler
Co-Owners
Gabe and Ellie Messler, co-owners of Pomegranate Market since 2024, lead with heart, purpose and a deep-rooted belief in the power of good food to nourish both people and planet. Gabe brings a lifelong passion for local food systems and sustainable sourcing, while Ellie—grounded in her background in dietetics—found renewed commitment to clean, conscious living after becoming a mother. Together, they’ve infused Pomegranate with fresh vision, expanding access to wholesome, transparent ingredients and cultivating a space where wellness, community and sustainability thrive. Their shared mission is simple yet powerful: to make intentional living feel natural, welcoming and within reach for all.

If you’ve walked into Pomegranate Market, chances are you’ve met Matt. As general manager, he’s all about building connections, whether it’s through music or a friendly conversation in the store. Getting to know customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere is what he loves most about being on the Pomegranate Market team.
